Leashed dogs are welcome across the Bighorns, but they are barred from the walking path around the sacred Medicine Wheel National Historic Landmark.

Leashed dogs are welcome on trails including those in the Cloud Peak Wilderness. This is bear country, so keeping dogs leashed and belled is recommended.
