The Kelleys Island Ferry allows leashed or crated dogs at no extra charge.
6 feet maximum. Retractable leashes are often not allowed.
Service animals are allowed where pets are not, under the ADA. A leash is still required.
Partly, leashed dogs are welcome nearly everywhere on Kelleys Island, except the swim beach, and can even ride the ferry over. Leashed dogs can use the park's trails and the 'long beach' area along East Lakeshore Drive, but not the designated swim beach.
