This 154,000-acre monument climbs from desert floor to alpine peaks and holds about 30 miles of the Pacific Crest Trail. Leashed dogs are welcome across most of it.

Dogs are allowed on many monument trails and along the PCT sections and must be leashed. The area is prime bird and wildlife habitat, so keep dogs close and pack out waste.
