Leashed pets are allowed only on the paved portion of the Lava Flow Trail and on any paved road or parking lot in the monument.
The A'a Trail, Bonito Vista Trail, Lenox Crater Trail, the unpaved outer loop of the Lava Flow Trail, and inside monument buildings.

Because monument resources are fragile, pets are allowed only on the paved section of the Lava Flow Trail plus paved roads and parking lots. They are barred from all the monument's other trails.
